Log in on the website
The address is www.betway.co.za. Type it into your browser yourself. It is shown as text on purpose: this page carries no link that pretends an existing customer is a referral, and the site's publish gate refuses an unmarked link to an operator's own domain.
- Open www.betway.co.za and tap Login at the top of the page. Sign Up sits beside it for new accounts.
- Enter your username and password.
- On the app, log in with the same username and password as the website, as Betway's app page says.
Log in on the app
Betway has an app for Android, iPhone and Huawei. Android users download the .apk file from betway.co.za/betway-app, because Betway says real-money gambling apps are not allowed in the Google Play Store. iPhone users are sent to the App Store, and Huawei users search AppGallery for Betway.
- Android: on betway.co.za/betway-app, tap the Android banner and download the .apk file, accept the install prompt, and the app appears on your home screen. Betway says to enable Allow Unknown Sources before installing and to disable it again afterwards.
- iPhone: tap the iOS image on the same page and you are sent to the App Store to install it. Betway says you log in with your existing username and password.
- Huawei: open AppGallery, search for Betway and tap Install, or tap the Huawei image on the app page.
Download the Android file only from betway.co.za. Betway's own page is the only place it publishes the file.
Forgot your password or username
Betway's public pages, read on 14 September 2026, do not publish a step-by-step password reset that we could read: its help pages render only with JavaScript. Use the forgotten-password option on the login form, or the contact centre.
- Tap Login at the top of www.betway.co.za and use the forgotten password option on the form.
- If you cannot complete it, call Betway's contact centre on 0861 787 250, which Betway's app page says is open 24 hours a day, every day.
